Be careful of the malicious websites you go on. One of them may install behind your back this popup. ScorecardResearch is a dangerous pop-up virus. It seems legit, right? But why would something just pop up without your permission? I received this twice. After the second time, I decided to look into it.
I started noticing that whenever I loaded a page, Chrome would have this at the bottom:

Do not click into this. Don’t touch anything. Close the tab immediately. Go through all your programs, addons, etc, & delete anything suspicious. Scan your computer, delete your cookies & clear your cache, do whatever it takes. You can read more here.

I’m not an idiot about what pages I visit. Chrome, Avira, and my own protections that I made with my own ten fingers made sure that I was able to browse safely. I have NO clue as to where this little bugger came from, but I was alerted when random words in a post were underlined!
Shortly after that, a keylogger was detected. I accessed it and terminated it from the source, but it cropped back up for another six hours until I was finally able to get it off my trail. Because of how long this had gone undetected (around two days) I had already lost access to mybanking information, my email, two of my five YouTube accounts (I do tutorials and machinima), and an account for a small forum that I no longer visit.
I was screwed.
I had to get a new bank card, and I got the rest of the accounts back eventually, except for the one I no longer used or cared about. I had to switch to Opera from my beloved Chrome as I formulated a plan. Avira picked up nothing. I don’t trust any other antivirus to do a clean enough job about it, but it still didn’t find anything. There was nothing installed in my Extensions or in Control Panel.
I installed ScriptSafe and blacklisted b.scorecardresearch. I think that you all should do the same. This also affected my girlfriend’s mother who is a Mac user, so it’s not only a Windows thing.

Princeless Volume 2 Issue 1 is officially coming out in February!
It’s been a long time coming and I really need as much help as I can getting the word out. For those who know how the comic book ordering system works, that means that retailers will have to order it from December previews, which means December is the month to get the word out (and go talk to your comic book shop about ordering it.) To assist with getting the word out, I wanted to ask for a little help from fans.
So, for December I’d like to issue a CALL FOR FANART! It’s simple. If you (or anyone you know) is a fan of Princeless and enjoys making art (at any skill level) I would love for you to do a piece of fanart for Princeless. Draw whatever you want and as long as it’s appropriate for the blog (read: all ages), then tag it #Princeless or let me know about it by some other means. I will post it on the tumblr, twitter, and facebook as well as a link back to your site.
I’d love to have a lot of these and I mean a lot. Check out the fanart that some fantastic folks have put together already and start getting some ideas for what you’d like to do. And if you don’t feel like arting, hey, no problem, just tell somebody else about it!

I usually don’t do this, but the reasons why I am are very important. My life situation right now is stressful and very frustrating, but I’m trying my best to cope.
It’s difficult for me to say, and I’m REALLY uncomfortable talking about my personal life openly…but essentially, I’m having serious issues with my medical insurance at the moment. They are refusing to pay my medication and treatments.
I’m very sick. I’ve been dealing with this illness since I was a child. Because the medical insurance is denying me coverage, we have to pay my treatments out of pocket. It has drained us emotionally and financially. My family has resorted to hiring a lawyer with money we don’t have. We are also behind on our bills because of me. It’s painful for me to watch my family struggle.
This isn’t a peg for a sympathy party, I really hate trying to get into details and even then this is all a little vague, but I am very serious that my situation has reached a point where I can not keep quiet any longer without risking the safety of my entire family. I need to help out.
So by doing commissions, I hopefully can at least help pay for everything. I am unable to work regular jobs because of my condition and as a child I did not feel like my drawings were good enough to sell but…I hope they are now?
As of current I feel my prices to be reasonable, and I will do my best to keep a consistent standard of quality in regards to the commissions.
Freelancing art is what I will be doing for a while to help support my family as best I can. Please understand I’m going to dedicate most of my time now to doing these commissions, this is a very serious matter. This will be treated as a job for the time being.

I can’t believe this happened to my mom, but it did, my mom didn’t told me that she was assaulted the last Monday, but I just heard her crying because of it. I asked her what was happening and she told me everything, they stole from her the money that was supposed to be for paying her employees, and it was a lot of money [I’m talking more than 40 000 pesos, and thats like 3000 dollars], and her boss called her saying that she has to pay everything before the 10th of November, or she’s gonna sue her.
As you can see, it’s a big thing, and we don’t have that money because they have to pay a lot of things every month, like my brother’s medicines [He has asperger], and they just end paying for my last brothers operation [He had one three months ago] they give my brother a new valve. So I’m desperate, I don’t know what to do, so I want to start a donating thing, but I don’t know how.
Please, if someone knows what to do I would be grateful for the rest of my life, and I’ll give something, but please, help me, I need it for my mom. If you don’t know, please reblog this, so someone could tell me.

I’m getting evicted on Monday. I have no money to my name right now. My parents will not help me. I was unaware this was coming because my roommate kept me in the dark that he wasn’t paying rent. He stole my money. He also split and left me here.
I have a cat. There are no shelters in Kingston, Ontario at the moment who can take me, and him. If you, or anyone you know lives around here, can you please, please get them in contact with me? I need someone to take care of my cat while I try and find somewhere to live.
