Tim is calculating the velocity of the ice-cream scooper in relation to the position of his hand and making spreadsheets and complicated graphs and charts complete with citations and footnotes for it. Did I mention this was all in his head? He is also probably playing the fifth game of mental chess with himself and considering the best patrol route for the night and composing the next email message to Lucius Fox as Tim Wayne.

That’s Timmy for you.
