You shouldn't be afraid to watch TVD because it's actually awesome tv show. I'm in love with it.
As for books, well I kinda feel ya there. I have the same feeling everytime I walk in the book shop. But I am there for books - that what I tell myself everytime it happens. Relax, mate! Books don't bite :DDDD
It looks good! :D (And I already ship Damon/Elena. tumblr what do you do to me? xD) I suppose when I find a good streaming link I will give it a shot.

It depends on the picture, whether it’s a doodle or spur of the moment thing then the answer is no.
But if it’s a planned out thing or something I’m working for days (or hours) then yes I do use a palette.
I use http://colorschemedesigner.com/ and http://www.colourlovers.com/ for random palettes inspiration or to help me out with my chosen colors. :3
